Delete is one of the leading full-service environmental service providers in the Nordic countries. The Group provides business-critical services that require specialist skills and equipment in three different business areas: cleaning services, demolition services and recycling services.
The company has sites all over Finland and especially the excavator drivers and other employees of the overall unloading unit need temporary accommodation during their projects. Accommodation needs often come very quickly, so Delete needs a fast and flexible service.
Seija Wilenius, a long-time office worker at Delete, says that in the past they have used larger accommodation providers to house their employees.
A Delete employee had been staying in Spot’s apartment
“One day, one of our foremen told us that he and his family had stayed in Spot’s apartment for the weekend,” Seija recalls.
“I then checked Spot’s website and their apartments seemed very clean and of a very high quality. I then contacted our Purchasing Manager and she told me that Mari Pääkkönen from Spot had already been in contact with her. We then arranged a meeting with Mari and pretty quickly booked the first accommodation on Sotilastorpantiete,” says Seija.
Personalised customer service has been outstanding
Seija Wilenius says that dealing with Mari has been very smooth and easy. Messages have always been answered very quickly, almost regardless of time and place. Seija says that sometimes accommodation requests come in very quickly and it’s nice when messages are responded to quickly.
“Finns don’t give good feedback, but when I have asked employees for feedback it has been good! Especially the parking spaces have been praised. Almost all of our employees have their own cars, so it’s very important that there are parking spaces for them and that they’re in an area where people dare to leave them,” says Seija.
Spot’s apartments are all equipped with code locks. Seija says that they have worked very well and have become routine for employees.
“These code locks do make things easier for everyone,” says Seija.
