Viemäritohtori Oy, a company that makes extensive use of Spot’s accommodation services, carries out sewer surveys, openings and diving all over Finland. Workers have long working stints, which means they need longer-term accommodation in the capital region.
Good pictures attracted interest
Pentti Karttunen, a member of the board of Viemäritohtori Oy, says that they first saw Spot’s furnished apartments online.
“It was in the wonderful world of the internet that I found the apartments! The quality of the images and the value for money caught my attention,” says Pentti.
The first bookings were made directly on the internet by Viemäritohtori Oy. Spot was then contacted by Pentti and they began to build a partnership agreement to address the ongoing accommodation needs.
Flats surprised positively
Pentti Karttunen says that the apartments have surprised him positively every time. The quality of the apartments has been high, as they have been clean and the code locks have always worked properly.
“The service attitude from Spot has been excellent,” Pentti sums up.
Pentti thinks that the price-quality ratio of Spot’s furnished apartments is ridiculously good.
“The apartments have good kitchen facilities and the possibility to prepare your own food. Clean bed linen is always provided, as well as showers and towels. If you compare the price level in southern Finland, you will not find a house of this level anywhere! “, Pentti continues.
Listening to customers
Spot is constantly thinking about how to improve the service and housing. We try to get as much feedback from customers as possible to get ideas for improvement.
The employees of Viemäritohtori Oy have been very satisfied with the accommodation. Pentti says that there has never been any negative feedback from employees about the quality of the housing.
“The functionality! The simple idea of what I like, getting personalised service and taking the needs of the business into account. And the convenience of knowing when your accommodation starts on a particular day so it starts and the codes arrive exactly on time. The demands of employees are also increasing all the time, as they travel a lot, so it is very important to have a good living environment,” Pentti says.
In Pent’s view, there are two areas where progress could be made.
“The beds could be of even better quality and I would even be happy to pay extra for them. It would also be great to be able to order a snack in the apartment, for example after a long day at work,” Pentti says.
